Oct 10, 2026: Guests start arriving in Delhi. Most of them are staying at JW Marriott, Aero City
Oct 11, 2026: Rest & Shopping in Delhi. Malls (Ambience Mall - Gurgaon) and South Extension - main shops Tasva, Manyavar, Kalki etc.
Oct 12, 2026: Shopping continues, if needed/ Sightseeing (on your own).
Oct 13, 2026: Taj Mahal Visit for those interested (fill out form). You will be leaving around 8 am in a van/small bus. Travel time is 4 hours from Aerocity. Lunch at Agra, return to Delhi around 9 pm.
Oct 14, 2026: Rest Day/ Sightseeing (on your own)
Day 1 - Thursday, October 15, 2026
Rooms are booked for two nights for all attending guests. Please note that no payment is required for your stay at the Heritage Resort (except for room service).
Check-in: From 8-9 am to 4 pm. See Hospitality Desk near reception.
Guest Welcome and Heritage Breakfast: 8 AM - 10 AM
For guests arriving earlier than 8 am:
Check in at front desk instead of at Welcome/ Hospitality Desk
There will be a running snack counter serving hot tea, coffee, small bites, and snack items from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. for all guests in the 1st floor of Utsav Hall > Ask hotel staff members for directions

Event 1 - Haldi and Mehendi
Location & Time: Terrace/ Utsav Joint Hall Starting at 12 Noon – 1 PM
About: A ceremony where family and loved ones put a turmeric-based yellow paste on the bride and groom symbolically blessing them.
To Do: Explore fun stalls, participate in games, candid photos throughout.
To Eat: Enjoy Chaat (street-food style snack), non-alcoholic drinks, and pass around appetizers before lunch.
Dress Code: Wear shades of yellow, white, cream and orange, please be mindful of Haldi (turmeric) stains on your clothes. See packing list tab on website for more information.
Notes: Dress in light weight clothes as this is an outdoor event with temperatures that can rise to 85°F - 90°F. We will have covered seating areas outside and an AC indoor component with plenty of cold drinks to help you stay cool.
Mehendi (Henna) artists will set up indoors at the Utsav Joint between 1 PM – 3 PM and lunch will be served as well.
All are welcome to get henna designs regardless of gender though are recommended to be mindful of long sleeves since your henna art can stain your clothes. Note that henna needs to stay on your hands for at least an hour to develop a stain before being washed off.
All guests - return to rooms to rest, note running kitchen will be open if you get hungry.
Event 2 - Sangeet
Location & Time: Baradari Lawn/ Sabha Hall at 7PM - 10 PM, party moves indoors after 10
About: Sangeet, meaning music, is a fun and celebratory event filled with singing and dancing!
To Eat: Enjoy the open bar and appetizers between 7 - 8:30, dinner will open by 9:00 PM.
To Do: Mingle, enjoy choreographed dances and songs from the bride and groom and their families and friends, and get your groove on.
Dress Code: Indian Traditional or Western Party - This is an outdoor event with evening temperatures expected in 62°F to 69°F range.
Notes: Carry a pair of backup flats if you are uncomfortable in heels for too long otherwise the foot massage is on you!
Day 2 - Friday, October 16, 2026
Event 3 - Baraat and Pheras Wedding Ceremony
8 AM to 10 AM – Heritage Breakfast
10 AM to 10 PM – Hospitality Desk open and Running Kitchen open for small bites, sandwiches, soft drinks, chai and coffee.
Baraat Procession
10 AM - 10:30 AM Sabha Hall Groom’s side male family and friends get safa (traditional headwear) tied wearing lavender color
10:30 AM - 11 AM Sabha Hall Baraat Assembles and Bride’s side family gets their safas tied in pink color.
11 AM Baraat begins at main entrance - This is the grand groom’s entry, Akshay will ride a horse and there will be a live band playing with dancing and confetti. Friends and family join.
Dress Code: Formal Indian or Indo-Western. Please avoid black. It’s an outdoor daytime event and Delhi temperatures may soar 91°F to 93°F - please dress accordingly.
11:45 AM Groom and Baraat procession arrives outside Darbar Hall where they are greeted by the bride’s side family members and close friends.
Milni (meeting) - Bride’s family gives groom’s family gifts in greeting
Guests are given flowers and anointed with perfume and head to the main amphitheatre and take their seats
11:55 AM Dwar Puja - Priests from bride & groom side; bride’s brothers, bride's parents and grandparents greet groom at entrance, place a red tika on Akshay and Ananya’s married cousin-brother’s wife presents Akshay with Kaleva
Wedding Ceremony
12.15 PM – Bride entry – accompanied by friends, brothers & sisters
12:20 - 12:30 PM Jaimala - Bride and Groom adorn each other with flower garlands, a joyful, playful moment symbolizing their acceptance of one another.
12:30 PM- Wedding Ceremony at the Mandap (wedding canopy)
We will have fans, mist, and outdoor air-conditioners to bring down temperature by a few degrees and there will be pass around drinks
Guests can also watch the wedding ceremony proceedings from inside the AC Darbar Hall where it will be live-cast

Agni Sthapan: The sacred fire is lit as the divine witness to all vows. In Hindu tradition, fire is eternal, pure, and incorruptible.
Kanya Daan: Both-side parents join Bride & Groom’s hand to symbolize the confluence of two families into one.
Gaath Bandhan: The groom’s side-married-sister presents Chanche-ki-saree to the bride and ties both the bride and groom's garments together - the literal tying of the knot. She also presents a mukut (head ornament) to the bride.
Mangal Pheras: The couple circle the sacred fire seven times, each round a solemn vow -of nourishment, strength, prosperity, wisdom, happiness, love, family, health, and lifelong friendship.
Lunch opens at 1 p.m. at Darbar Hall
3 - 7 PM Rest up, muster energy for reception
Event 4: Reception
Location & Time: Sher Bagh Lawn (Outdoor) 7PM - 11 PM
About: Time to celebrate the newly married couple!
To Eat: Enjoy the open bar and appetizers between 7 - 8:30, dinner will open at 8:30 PM.
To Do: Expect a grand feast, speeches, music, and an open dance floor.
Dress Code: Black Tie / Indian Formal / Indo-Western. This is an outdoor event with evening temperatures expected in 62°F to 69°F (17°C to 20°C).
Notes: 7.30 PM - 7:45 PM – Adi and Sara (siblings) enter, then Akshay’s parents, Ananya’s parents, Bride & Groom Entry. 7.45 PM – 8.15 PM – Speeches followed by 8.30 PM dinner and 9.00 PM open dance floor.
Day 3 - Saturday, October 17, 2026
Vidai (Bride joins her new family)
8:00 AM to 10:00 AM - Breakfast
11:00 - 12:30 PM - Check Out
